Apiturizem Kr'Bee

UROŠ KOZJEK

By profession, I am a train driver, but in my life, I have worked and learned many skills. All the knowledge I acquired over the years I used for work at home and to help others. On the estate, I was able to do most things myself. I designed the plans for the carport and the livestock barn, and built both. I completely renovated the house, which had only bare walls when we arrived. Here, we created our nest, where we finally laid the foundations for our ideas for Kr’Bee Apitourism. When the plans for the project were born, I took on the work entirely by myself. I connected with local providers of various construction services who helped me with physically demanding tasks.

I probably inherited my love for beekeeping from my grandfather, but due to various circumstances, I only started beekeeping later in my life. During this time, I also obtained the National Vocational Qualification “APITHERAPIST” During my training, I solidified my goals for setting up my own apitherapeutic glamping and began realizing them during the COVID-19 pandemic. My vision is to promote the importance of connecting humans with nature and its gifts, to raise awareness of the need to disconnect from this crazy world, to find within ourselves the simplicity that our grandparents possessed, and to offer all this to guests on our estate.

By profession, I am a graduated preschool teacher, but I also have a great love for theater and music, nature, and a simple way of living. In my life, I have combined all these loves in various ways, mostly through work with children and with myself. My work has been awarded several times at the national level, but more than that, my reward is the personal satisfaction and the memories cherished by all the young people who have walked part of the path with me in the past.

I want to enjoy everything I am in the next period of my life on our estate. I wish to interact with young people and sincerely embrace life in coexistence with nature. I want to show them the beauty of a simple way of living, caring for oneself and nature. I aim to prove that life without various screens can be fulfilling, fun, satisfying, and essential for human survival.
